5. Customer Responsibilities

Access: You are responsible for ensuring that the moving crew has clear access to your home, apartment, or office, including parking, elevator access, and the safety of the location. Any delays caused by insufficient access or last-minute changes may result in additional charges.
Packing and Preparation: If you have requested packing services, our team will pack your belongings in a safe and secure manner. However, you are responsible for packing any items that are not provided as part of our service. Clearwater Beach Movers is not responsible for any damage to items that are packed by the customer or improperly packed.
Valuables and Hazardous Items: It is your responsibility to remove and/or securely pack any valuables, personal items, and items that are hazardous or prohibited for transport, such as flammable materials, chemicals, and perishable goods.
6. Liability and Insurance
Damaged Items: While Clearwater Beach Movers takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safe transport of your belongings, we are not liable for damages caused by improper packing (whether by you or our crew) or inherent defects in the items being moved. We offer basic liability coverage, but additional insurance options are available for higher-value items.
Loss or Damage: In the event of loss or damage to your property, we will assess the situation and offer a resolution in accordance with the terms of our insurance policy. Please report any damage or loss to us within 24 hours after your move for investigation.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled move date. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in a cancellation fee. Fees for cancellations or rescheduling are determined based on the nature of the move and the amount of notice given.
8. Force Majeure
Clearwater Beach Movers is not responsible for any delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to inclement weather, accidents, natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
